SHIPPING POLICY
Ground Shipping:
Overnight, Next Day, Second Day orders take 24 hours to process.
Your order will be shipped FedEx the day after it is placed.
Except Friday, Saturday & Sunday, those orders will be processed on Monday.
Please allow up to 24 hours for order processing. In stock items will ship within 2 business days of order being processed. Out of stock items will ship once they are received by us usually within 3-5 days.
Most products listed in our catalog are in stock or are immediately available from our warehouse. If we have it, it goes out as soon as possible usually within 2 business days. Depending on the availability from General Motors, we can have product shipped to you in seven to ten business days. Sometimes it can be quicker, but use the 7 -10 number as an "average".
NOTE: The parts listings in this online catalog do not reflect our inventory and/or actual availability. This catalog does display special order and some discontinued or vintage items. Discontinued or vintage parts are not offered at a discount and will be billed at MSRP. You will be contacted by e-mail if your order contains any discontinued or vintage items that have a price change. Discontinued or vintage items are not returnable.
SHIPPING INFORMATION: Most items are shipped via FEDEX Ground Service (to commercial addresses) or FEDEX Home delivery (they charge up to $5.00 more for this service). This is the quickest, most cost effective means of delivery. We are also shipping to all of the states, Canada and Countries outside the continental United States via United States Postal Service, but most shipments will be shipped by FEDEX Ground, no better way to track your package. We will need your complete delivery address when ordering. Sorry, FEDEX will not deliver to a Post Office Box. So there is no confusion, FEDEX attempts to deliver your part(s) to the address given to us three times. If after that, FEDEX will then return your shipment to us. On the first attempt, FEDEX will leave a note stating their next delivery date and other delivery information. For any reason you cannot be there for delivery, please make arrangements for someone else top be there (relative, neighbor) or contact FEDEX for other arrangements. Any shipments returned to us because of non-delivery by FEDEX, there will be a return charge. We do ask that any order you receive and the shipping box is damaged; check the condition of the part(s) before accepting the shipment. No C.O.D. please remember that backorders and drop ships and are shipped separately.
FEDEX/OVERSIZE ITEMS Any item(s) which are considered Oversized by FEDEX standards can be shipped via FEDEX but at an oversize rate. Oversize item(s) which are more that 30 lbs. Will be charged according to their weight. Some products we carry are oversized but may not be indicated as such. We reserve the right to charge the FEDEX oversize fee on any order which contains a part(s) that is oversized even though it may not be stated.
HAWAII & ALASKA All Hawaii and Alaska orders are shipped via FEDEX 2nd day air delivery. Whenever possible we will ship USPS to save you money. All orders must be pre-paid. Shipping charges depend on the items being shipped and current FEDEX rates. Any orders for this location, the parties ordering will receive a phone call, stating the exact shipping fee. No C.O.D.
NEED THE PARTS FASTER FEDEX does offer 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air for these times when you simply have to have it now. Unfortunately the cost of such service is expensive. If you need, we can give you a shipping quote before making that decision. This applies to the part(s) we have in stock.
DAMAGE CLAIMS The person receiving the delivery must inspect the contents of the package at the time of delivery in the presence of the delivery person. It is the responsibility of the carrier to deliver the merchandise in good condition. It is unlikely but in case you receive a package that is damaged or has been opened, makes sure the driver notes this fact. Immediately contact FEDEX so that they can inspect the package as soon as possible. FEDEX will then contact us so we may process the claim and arrange for replacement of the damaged merchandise. It’s important that these instructions are followed the event of a damaged or opened package. Discount GM Parts cannot honor a damage claim unless the delivering company has a record on file within 3 days of the delivery. Discount GM Parts is not responsible for damages not reported within 3 days of receipt.
SHIPPING INSURANCE: Every order over $100.00 is charged an insurance fee of $1.00 per hundred. This fee will insure the entire order and protect you completely from damage or loss.
Estimated Shipping: Shipping charges are estimated due to location and weight. The minimum shipping expense for commercial addresses will be $12.95. FedEx or USPS.
Damaged Items: The carrier is responsible for all items damaged during shipping. You will need to fill out a damaged claim report from the carrier to be reimbursed. Please do not return these items to us as we are not responsible for the reimbursement. NOTICE: INTERNATIONAL ORDERS WILL BE SHIPPED DUTY AND TAX COLLECT.

RETURN POLICY
ITEMS ORDERED WITHOUT A VIN ARE NON-RETURNABLE.
You have 10 days after receiving the item to process the return.
If the item is incorrect due to your error such as, looked up the wrong part, selected wrong option, or did not provide us with your VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) number during checkout, You may be subject to a 35% restocking fee.
If the incorrect part is due to our error, we will resolve the issue immediately. Your VIN number can be located on your insurance card, windshield, door jambs. NO refunds on electrical parts. Parts must be in original packaging and not damaged, parts numbers must be legible. Parts must be returned for inspection prior to any credit being issued. All return parts must be in the original, undamaged packaging, torn or ripped packages will not receive credit. Parts must be accompanied by a copy of proof of purchase invoice. All shipments must be prepaid. COD and freight collect shipments will be refused. If these requirements are NOT met, parts will be either scrapped or returned to you at your expense.
An RMA must be included with the return, please send an e-mail with the reason for return and you will be contacted within 24 hours.
